Acknowledgement of Country

Acknowledgement of Country

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, gather, and create. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the First Nations of Australia, whose cultures, customs, and connections to this land have existed for thousands of years.

We acknowledge the profound spiritual and cultural significance that this land holds for its Traditional Owners, past, present, and emerging. We recognize their enduring relationship with Country and their role as stewards, who have cared for and nurtured this land for countless generations.

We extend our respect to Elders, both past and present, for their wisdom, leadership, and guidance. We honor the resilience, strength, and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and we stand in solidarity with them as they continue to seek justice, recognition, and self-determination.

As settlers on this land, we are committed to walking together on the journey of reconciliation. We are committed to listening, learning, and understanding the histories, cultures, and experiences of Indigenous peoples. We are committed to building meaningful relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and collaboration.

In our work, we strive to uphold the principles of reconciliation by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and cultural safety. We acknowledge that reconciliation is an ongoing process that requires action, accountability, and a genuine commitment to justice.

By acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land, we honor their legacy and affirm our commitment to reconciliation and the shared future we seek to create together.
